FC04: Palm Springs Tram Engineering Tour
Limited Capacity seats available

This field course will provide a behind the scenes tour of the engineering processes that drive the worlds largest rotating aerial tramway. The tram gains 5,873 feet of elevation in twelve minutes and passes through 5 different biomes on it way to the top of Mt. San Jacinto.  After the engineering tour, the participants will have the option of investigating rocks and minerals, bird watching, or learning different methods of determining the age of trees. Lunch provided. Ticket: $73
